What is Battle Royale in poker?

A Hyper-Turbo tournament format with a progressive Bounty — every elimination pays half the victim's bounty in cash and adds half to your bounty.

How is progressive Bounty calculated?

Initially half of each player's buy-in becomes their bounty. With each kill, half the victim's bounty is added to the killer's bounty — growing exponentially.

Is Battle Royale suitable for beginners?

Yes, one of the best formats for beginners because even an early elimination can be profitable if you claimed a bounty. Variance is lower than a regular tournament.

Battle Royale — Tournament with Progressive Bounty

Battle Royale is one of GGNetwork's most innovative formats: a Hyper-Turbo tournament where every player has a personal Bounty, and when you knock someone out — half their bounty becomes instant cash for you, and half is added to your bounty. With every kill — the prize on your head grows.

Winning strategy in Battle Royale

Low buy-in = limited damage: But bounties are 50% of ROI potential. Take them.
Call all-ins closer: When someone shoves small, their bounty reduces the equity needed to call.
Mid stack = target: You\'re a target — not many chips, but you have a bounty. Play aggressive rather than get slaughtered.
Snowball Player: A player who killed 3-4 = juicy target, but also dangerous.
ICM less significant: Half the money already came out as bounty — so extra aggression is justified.

Why it's exciting for beginners too

In a regular MTT, a beginner who busts early — has nothing. In Battle Royale, even if you\'re eliminated in the first hour, if you killed 2 players — you\'re already at small profit. Reduces variance and adds a satisfaction layer.
