General legal background
Israeli law restricts games of chance and organised gambling. Poker occupies a debated position because it combines chance with a substantial skill element, and Israeli courts and regulators have addressed it in different contexts over the years.
This page is general information, not legal advice. If your situation matters legally, consult a qualified Israeli lawyer.
Where club platforms sit
ClubGG operates with virtual chips rather than a cash cashier, which is why it is widely used by private communities and home-game groups. That does not automatically make every arrangement around it lawful — the surrounding conduct matters.
Practical guidance
Play for entertainment and skill, avoid organising anything that resembles a commercial gambling operation, respect the 18+ rule, and keep your play private and proportionate.
