Why coverage decides the hand
You can only collect a bounty from a player you cover. Against a bigger stack, an all-in risks your tournament life and your own bounty with no bounty upside at all. That asymmetry, not the raw pot odds, drives most correct PKO decisions.
The practical habit is to check stack sizes before acting, every time. In a standard tournament that is useful; in a PKO it is the primary input.
