VPIP — Voluntarily Put $ In Pot — Poker Term Explained

VPIP measures the percentage of hands in which a player voluntarily puts money in the pot (blinds do not count). Roughly 15-22% is standard for a solid full-ring regular; anything above 35% marks a loose recreational player you should target.
